6.5 Grendel Barrel, Ultralight w/ bolt

This ultralight contour barrel is manufactured from 416R Stainless Steel and uses EV5 Rifling* with a 1 in 8" twist.  Additional features include a mid-length gas port for barrels 16" to 18" and rifle-length gas port for 20" - 24" barrels, M4 feed ramps and 5/8" x 24 threaded muzzle. With the 5/8" x 24 threading, this will allow you to use any .30cal muzzle brakes, flash hiders or suppressors. This barrel requires a Grendel bolt with a .125" (type 1) bolt face depth, which we provide separately or as a combo kit. This barrel used the "Grendel II" chamber, which has the compound throat taken out of the SAAMI grendel cartridge. The compound throat was causing issues to where the bullet would get stuck in the lands and grooves. Included is a matched bolt made from 9310AQ. Being Aircraft Quality 9310, it is free from any impurities, making it stronger than standard 9310 steel and much stronger than the mil-spec carpenter 158 steel. Cerakoted barrels coated to order and take a few extra days to ship.
